CrepeMyrtleFlowers

A painting from "The Ark" series where I painted from my surroundings. I decided an artist didn't need to go someplace special to paint and should look for the beauty that surrounds our life everyday. So in this series I painted from the garden and around our home at our little farm, The Ark. These crepe myrtle flowers were so laden with dew in the morning mist that they simply bowed with the weight. This image is also available in giclee prints on canvas and as a greeting card.
